The Head of Sales will:
- Craft and lead sales strategies to keep the company at the forefront of the UK Distribution Market.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leadership, including the CX Director, board, and MD.
- Develop and nurture relationships with major clients in key market sectors.
- Serve as the company’s representative at major industry events, enhancing brand visibility.
- Identify and capitalise on emerging markets, ensuring the business remains competitive and profitable.
Position in the Organisation:
This role reports directly to the Customer Experience Director and has responsibility for Regional Sales Managers in both the North and South, ensuring cohesive leadership across the national sales team.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in sales leadership within the wholesale construction market, including electrical, plumbing, and/ or building merchants.
- Ability to forecast and adapt sales strategies to shifting market conditions.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to drive a high-performing sales team.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders across the business.
